The tea material of this producer comes from a wild tea garden at a high altitude.  

If you pay attention to the pictures, it certainly looks like an unattended wild tea garden with a good environment. In one of the photos, you can see how insects bit the tea leaves, translated as no pesticides.

This tea brick is massive. It weighs 2.5 kg. So we are offering smaller amounts of tea. However, if you are interested in getting a whole tea brick you can contact us.

I did ten infusions in 7.16g / 90cm3 Gaiwan. 

The aroma of the dry tea leaves (in a pre-heated Gaiwan) is similar to the wet tea leaves. A touch of light smoke (a different kind of smoke than Xiaguan Puer teas is more of an incense smoke aroma), some kind of spiciness, incense, woody and Golden Flowers notes.

 All those aromas described above are transferred to the teacup.

 The tea has a sweet, sour taste with a creamy mouthfeel that causes one to produce plenty of saliva. In subsequent infusions, it gets sweeter and continues like this until the end.

 The tea is very comfortable in the stomach, it also gives a warming and a bit stimulating body sensation.  

  Note: The pictures of the tea bushes/tea trees are not precisely of this tea. But they are from the same tea garden where the raw material was picked. 

This tea is also from the same producer as our 2006 Jin Hua Tian Jian Wild Heicha

The Golden Flowers’ scientific name is Eurotium cristatum. It is a fungus with some health benefits. That aside, there is something that you can experiment with while brewing teas with Golden Flowers. They make teas sweeter and smoother due to various chemical reactions produced by them.
