(2019 Mengku Yueguang Bai White Tea)
Each tong has 5 cakes and is wrapped in bamboo.
This Mengku Yue Guang Bai White Tea has a medium level of oxidation, the colour of the wet leaves has some yellowish-green tone and other ones are brownish in appearance. The tea wasn’t sun-dried and no machine was used for the drying stage either. Instead, it was dried inside a room without direct sunlight, as seen in one of the pictures.
The tea liquor has a golden yellow colour and is full-bodied in the mouth.
The tea soup has a sugarcane sweetness and causes one to produce plenty of saliva at the sides of the tongue. It has some astringency.
Malty/woody notes abound in this tea.

Excellent white tea. It is not bland at all like other white teas I tried. Sweet honey and fruity character with a long aftertaste. A great tea for this price.
