(2008 Guangxi Liubao Bingcha)
This tea comes from a small factory owned by a family of farmers. They claim that their tea is older than what I indicated above. However, my best guess is the tea is from around 2008.
When it comes to its flavour, the tea doesn’t have the classic Betel nut notes. Instead, it has a strong sweet Hong Zao (red date) flavour profile. The storage of the tea is super clean (but not dry) Wuzhou storage. There is no trace of (wet) storage flavours. The tea is ready to drink now!
The tea can give at least ten brews.
About the tea, it has no bitterness and nearly no astringency. It has a thick body and a decently sweet mouthwatering tea soup.
Its fermentation level is high, as you can see in the wet tea leaves picture. It has medium size tea leaves with some stems too.
This tea is a great daily drinker. Price/quality wise it is a bargain!
Note: The tea comes in its original wrapping. The picture of the cake is the backside of it.
