(Hongni Shuiping Zisha Teapot)
This teapot has been used and cleaned but still has some traces of usage. It has good quality Hong Ni, Medium to high fired.
The lid is a bit loose like many non-modern Shui Ping teapots.Â
The pouring speed is 11 seconds. Slightly choppy at some point but no so much that slows the pouring significantly. The teapot lid might be from another teapot. Since the clay of the body and lid seems a bit different. In any case, to me the clay of the lid looks as good as or even better than the clay of the body.
I have been using this teapot with different teas, so you don’t need to pre-season it if you don’t want to.
I have tried it with young Sheng Puer tea and some Oolongs with good results.
However, I advise you to experiment with different teas and find the best match according to your taste.
The teapot has no cracks nor chips only some tooling marks outside and inside the lid. You can check it in the pictures.
