This teapot uses high-quality modern Zhu ni clay. It was High-fired.
The craftsmanship is nearly perfect (the spout isn’t perfectly aligned), it has a tight-fitting lid with long walls under the lid.
The pouring speed is approximately 8 seconds and comes out smoothly. Slightly choppy towards the end of the pour.
I am quite fond of the ear-shaped handle, I find it quite useful and feels comfortable in my hand.
I recommend this teapot for young Sheng Puer or Oolong teas. I have tried it with a high-quality tan bei Tie Guan Yin (known as Monkey Picked in the west) with good results. But I advise you to experiment with different teas.
